It's actually no holiday

ok, this blog entry is just to balance out all the holiday and tourist like entries that we have put in of late.
They always say that a picture tells a thousand words so we like to show you lots of pictures we have taken here. But we don't tend to take pictures of our work but of our outings.
So you could have the impression that we are just spending our time on trips.
Actually we are working very hard onboard the ship to prepare for sailing and to support the community here.
Heather is now officialy the ships nurse and is onboard each day from 9.30 to 2.30 while the kids are in school. She has to leave at 2.30 to drive and pick them up from the villa where school is held. As well as nursing she is supporting the pantry team doing washing up, helping clean cabins and putting up safety notices in cabins across the ship.
I seem to be accumulating jobs as well as having a growing team here on board. I have a team of 4 who are looking after IT on board and developing it for a growing community. I now also have taken resoponsibility for finance including creating the port budget, the driver, vehicle bookings, office functions like the mail and setting up all the offices for those who need them and organising storage onboard.
In addition to my main job I have been asked to take responsibility for the transfer of all goods and services from Logos 2 to Logos Hope once we arrive in Kiel. I am also going to oversee the transfer of all those who don't sail from Trogir to Kiel, including the shutting down of all operations here. I also need to oversee the emptying of our onshore warehouse with all the items still there onto the ship.
So we are both keeping busy. We are really enjoying the work and the community onboard.
As part of the main leadership team onboard we are also involved in various community events and giving overall leadership to those onboard.
