Friday was my last day working at RBS for the next few years. It was a great day and my team made it very memorable. A big thanks to everyone for their good wishes. I arrived to find my desk decorated like a tropical island. We had a team breakfast in the canteen and the day flew by. Before I knew it, the team were gathering round for a presentation. I received a fantastic Seafarers watch with lots of cool things on it like a compass, temperature and barometer.
Then it was off to the social club to meet up with lots of friends and colleagues for a farewell drink before heading into town for a meal. 23 of us went for a great Italian and then a wee dance before heading home.
I realise that I have made many good friends at the bank and I will miss them over these coming months and years. Although I am really looking forward to the next steps in our lives, I will look back with great fondness on my time at the bank.
