Bye Bye RBS Hello OM Ships International

Well here I am - my last week at work for RBS. Lots of goodbyes this week. Today I was in London bidding farewell to the part of my team based downthere. On Friday I will walk out of the office for the last time in at least 2 years. It is a strange feeling bringing closure to my job. I have known for some 21 months that this day would come. I had expected it a lot earlier but as the ship has been delayed, we have pushed the date back on several occasions and now it has arrived. I will miss the people I work with but am really looking forward to starting a new role with OMSI. We officially rejoin the organisation on 1st June

Plans continue to change and it now looks less likely that we will be joining the ship in Germany initially. We now hope to go down to Croatia and meet up with the ship there as it seems likely the ship will be there for most of the summer. We'll keep you informed.

Last Friday night we went out for an early birthday celebration - my birthday is 30th May but I'll be down in Carlisle.

Along with our good friends Colin and Alison & Gordon and Miriam we went to a concert at Murrayfield stadium called Party on the Pitch featuring tribute bands for Queen, the Beatles and ABBA. It was one of the best nights out we have had in years and lots of fun as you can see below.
