Another day, another ship

I am writing this entry from onboard the Logos 2, sister ship to Logos Hope which the newer ship is replacing. I have been down visiting the ship in Falmouth, Cornwall to meet up with some of the crew who will be joining my team on Logos Hope.

It has been great to be back onboard this ship and see it in operation. It is also the first time in my 22 years involved with OM Ships that I have actually stayed on board one of the ships as a guest. I have had a great time meeting up with some old friends and also talking to people who are moving onto the LH when it arrives in Germany. We hope that both ships will be together in Bremerhaven in September.

Being so far South West also gave me the chance to visit Lands End for the first time with a couple of other guys last night. It was well worth the drive and we enjoyed a Cornish pasty at the restaraunt on the point. We also met a bunch of guys from Edinburgh who had just cycled down from John O'Groats to raise money for the Edinburgh Sick Kids hospital.

Our house went onto the rental market this week - you can check it out at http://www.broughtonproperty.co.uk/properties/782/
We hope that it will be rented from the beginning of July. We will then move over to Mosbach in Germany before the ship arrives in Bremerhaven and we can move on board.
I have spoken to a few people recently who have told me that they have read this blog recently. If you are reading this, post a quick comment to say hi so we know that you are interested in what we are up to.
Bye for now.
