Last Monday, we were blessed with an outing to Legoland, sponsored by one of the OM offices as an encouragement to the ship's community. Around 170 of us made the 3 hour bus journey to the other side of Denmark to visit the famous theme park. Did you know that Lego is a Danish invention?
It was a great day out for everyone, despite the long journey and frequent showers. It did remind us of Florida (a bit) when we went on the first ride but that soon wore off.
We all enjoyed the rides and the fun. It was nice to get away from the ship for a day.
On Saturday we had a special kids programme, working together with local Danish Christians. A stage was set up in the town square and many people were attracted by the music and games and then invited to come to the ship. Well over 400 came onboard in around 3 hours.
They were entertained with clowns, face painting, balloons, games and quizes and heard Bible stories.
The other highlight of the weekend was enjoying watching Team Great Britain win 8 Gold Medals in the Olympics. Come on GB!!
