And it's all change again

Last week I spent 4 days in Carlisle with the rest of the leadership team for Logos Hope discussing how we plan to lead the community on board and what we want the culture on board to be like. It was a very valuable time and we all felt a real sense of unity about the direction we are taking.

I also got to spend my birthday with these guys - they gave me a lovely cake. We had had a family celebration the night before as I had to get the train down to Carlisle at 7.15 on the day itself. The day was rounded off with a great relaxing soak in my friend Mark's hot tub.

At the same time I had discussions with a number of the other leaders about our plans to join the ship. It became apparant that it would not make sense for us to go down to Croatia next month. There is not enough accomodation available there due to the amount of holiday makers that arrive at this time of year. We are also hopefull that the ship might be ready to sail by the end of July so there seems little sense in heading down there for just a few weeks.

So it's back to Germany again. It looks like we will travel over to Mosbach, where the ship's headquarters are and set up home there for a couple of months. I will travel down to Croatia regularly to work on board and Heather and the kids can enjoy a relaxing time - in what will hopefully be a warm and sunny Germany.

This week we are taking a short break at Crieff Hydro with our good friends Colin and Alison.
This is the only holiday we currently have planned for this year so we are really looking forward to it.
Remember - we would love to hear from you and if you are reading this you can always post comments to let us know you are out there.
