Back in Edinburgh

It's Friday night and that is normally blog night.
The past 2 weeks have just flown by and my time in Belfast has come and gone and I'm now back with the family in Edinburgh.
There was just one busy weekend in Belfast with a good number of friends and relatives coming to visit. It was great to catch up with old Doulos friends, Carrubbers friends, Edinburgh friends and also some of my mum's family. I really enjoyed showing one of my aunt's and my cousin around the ship.
On Friday evening, it was time to have a farewell for a number of my team leaders who will leave in the next couple of months. I have left the team in the safe hands of my IT manager Rob for the next 6 weeks.
Early Monday morning, it was off to the airport and the flight back to Edinburgh.
What a fantastic feeling to see Heather, Liam and Kara again after these 3 weeks.
A good part of Monday was spent on the internet, finding a cheap holiday to the sun in a couple of weeks time. We are looking forward to going to Portugal in 10 days.
The past 4 days have been spent with friends, relaxing at a lovely country hotel called Crieff Hydro. It was great to go swimming every day, enjoy cooking our own food, visit the gym, go quad biking and just unwind.

So now we have a few weeks to enjoy a break from the ship and spend time with each other.
The blogs may be a bit less frequent now until we get back to the ship on 15th June but will probably write a couple of times while home.
In the meantime - keep up with all that is happening at www.logoshope.org
