1 girl onboard had her birthday and invited us to join a group going to a small town up the coast called Primosten. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon in this delightful town.
We all had ice cream a coffee by the beach, the kids went for a dip and we explored the island like peninsula before having a nice meal.
There was a beautiful sunset which we enjoyed before heading back to the ship. As we drove out of town we looked back to see a beautiful view in the afterglow of the sunset.
Last Saturday we went on a trip to Split, one of Croatia's oldest and biggest cities. We went with our fellow Edinburgh and Carrubbers friend, Pauline, and one of the mums with her 2 boys. We took a boat from just a few hundred yards away from our house for the 75 minute journey to Split.
When we got there we were fascinated by the old town which was founded in the 3rd century. It is a really exciting and beautiful city.
We had a great afternoon exploring and enjoying the sights before getting back on our little boat and heading back to Trogir in the rapidly approaching darkness.
It is such a privilege to be living here in Trogir and have the opportunity to see all these great sights. Trogir itself is also a beautiful and ancient town. We went up the tower at the castle opposite our house last week and got some great views of the town and surrounding area.
To be honest, we would probably have never come to Croatia if it wasn't for the ship being here, but this is a beautiful part of the world and I would really recommend a visit.
Heather's parents arrive next week so we will no doubt do some more exploring with them.

Hi again! As I'd said, my family has a friend that is on Logos Hope, Giordanni. And as you were in Trogir waiting to finally sail on Logos Hope, Giordanni's family was too. And we in Brazil were always looking the progresses that were happening and all of us were excited when the ship finally got ready, almost just like you! Until the next comment. Jessica Nogueira
