How to answer the "when?" question?

At the moment, so much of our lives revolve around the "when?" question.

We are constantly asking " when will the ship be ready to leave Croatia?" So many of our decisions are being made based on that question. Should we relocate to Croatia? What will happen with the school when the ship sails? Should we still be encouraging people to come and help us there?

It is a challenging time for all of us involved in this project and yet we are learning patience and to believe that God is in control, even if we don't understand it.

Many of our friends have been contacting us and expressing concern about how we are feeling about the uncertainty. Yes it is difficult but we are now much happier in our own minds because we have taken the decision to relocate to Croatia. We are all excited about being based near the ship - the kids can go to school and Heather and I can work on board the ship. We are currently planning to stay in the villa where the school takes place each day. More about that in the coming weeks.

Sunset over Logos Hope in Trogir

Last week, I was back on the ship in Trogir. It was a very good week and I was really encouraged by the attitude and morale of those onboard. Everyone has a real sense of purpose in working onboard and is having fun amongst all the hard work. Real progress is being made yet we are still dependant on the yard to finish work which they have been telling us they will do for a long time.

The ship is now doing life boat and fire drills to prepare for sailing

Heather had the hardest job keeping the kids occupied on her own for a week. After I got back we had a big family outing with our friends to Playmobile Funpark, a great kids theme park 1 1/2 hours a way. We all enjoyed having fun together with the kids.
