It has certainly been a week with lots of visitors to Logos Hope. Not crowds of people coming to the book fair, but friends of the ship coming to give input into the community and the project.
My Tobago buddy John came to organise the layout of the book fair together with Huug who is based in the States doing all the buying. They did a great job putting all the shelve units and tables into place.

Then we had Dan and Suzie Potter here - they have an incredible ministry to teens all over the world and are the founders of Teen Street. They shared with the ships company and held a training programme for youth workers and ship people last night and today. Tonight they are MCing a programme to celebrate 50 years of OM with Danish partners and supporters.
Heather and I were asked to host a table and got to meet a very nice Danish couple who have both been on Doulos before and have kids a similar age to ours. So we enjoyed spending time with them and look forward to meeting up with them again in a couple of weeks.
Our other special guest has been George Verwer, founder of OM, who is also here to encourage the ships company and to take part in tonights programme.
We have had visitors to our cabin this week as some of the carpenters have been in putting in our new kitchen.
Tomorrow(Monday) we are looking forward to a trip to Legoland as the ship has been given a gift by OM in the UK to have an outing. So we are hoping for a fantastic day - we'll have the pictures in the next blog.
Ok, off to watch some Olympics now.
